Shine a Light 2014: Decision time

On the 21st February, 17 judges comprising of a mixture of industry experts and past Shine a Light Award winners, met to debate the outcomes of this year’s awards.

Shut away in the depths of the Pearson building, each panel was given the unenviable task of selecting the winners and highly commended finalists. There were 11 categories for the team to discuss this year, including the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award.

There was lots of debate, no tantrums (that we can tell you about), and plenty of applauding when the results where announced. With just over 2 weeks to go until the big day, we’ll have to keep you suspense until the 3rd April when we announce this year’s winners and share their excellent examples of best practice.
