Speech, language and communication needs are on the calendar

With snowdrops popping up all around us and daffodils appearing in the shops (if not quite blooming from the ground yet) we have started to look forward to the spring, summer and even autumn events for 2013.

On March the 1^st our mini SL T brochure will drop onto the doorstep of all RCSLT members, and with this we are very excited to start being able to take contact details for all those interested in being involved with 2013’s Shine a Light awards.

After a successful award ceremony in November, my colleagues in marketing along with The Communication Trust have already started planning the third annual awards!

We will have further information at the forthcoming Speech, Language and Communication focused conferences, in particular ASLTIP and NAPLIC throughout the next couple of months.

We look forward to seeing you at these events and in preparation for Shine a Light 2013; hearing all about your excellent practice in supporting the needs of all children and young people’s communication.
