Lights, camera, action

The call of “lights, camera, action” has been resounding round the Pearson office this month, as we set out to record a series of 10 new training videos for Q-interactive, our new digital assessment tool.

Q-interative Filming

Alison Winter and Richard Johnson, our two resident Q-interactive specialists agreed to be our film or “hand” stars for the day, and we engaged the expertise of Team 360 to ensure our videos would be professional and accessible.

With the task of filming all 10 videos in one session, Ali and Richard had a handy check list (which covered everything from avoiding stripy or patterned clothes to bringing make-up, and ensuring nails were polished and scripts well read) which ensured they were well prepared.

Richard Qinterative FilmingTeam 360 Ltd then came and transformed our small recording room into a film set, and the team were soon ‘on air’. I think you can agree from the photos that Richard and Ali look very at home in our studio.

Our videos are now in post-production and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you soon. You can expect to find sessions on everything from: ‘Preparing your iPads for Q-interactive’ to ‘Archiving and Exporting Assessment Batteries’.

We were also excited to receive access from our US office to a new introductory video on Q-interactive which you can now watch on our homepage.

The camera lights however have far from dimmed, and this month we’re already half way through creating 8 new exciting videos on some of our key assessments. Watch this space for more details!
